On our way back from Florida, bought a new Fifth wheel RV, and travelled north to New York.

June 06 - Our Older and Newer Fifth Wheel

Time to consider getting a newer RV, and we found the right one at the right price.

June 09 - Dance Contest

While at the dealer where we bought the new RV, we saw a flyer advertizing an RV weekend at a resort in Georgia just across the Florida border.  They promised 3 nights and many meals for only $39.  We were on it.

On one of the evenings, they had a 50's Dance contest.  Here we are:

 

 

 

WE WON! Both the best dancers, and Ed the best costume. Prizes amounted to $150. cash!

June 09 - Savannah, Georgia

Spent a couple of days in Savannah.  A beautiful city with many parks.

June 16 - Praying for the Hershbergers in Virginia

June 17 - RoseRiver

We had time to visit RoseRiver, a YWAM retreat center that Patty and Ed managed in 1997-98.

Looks like a simple stream, but violent in the Spring rains, and it destroyed several bridges before the culvert was installed.

Jun 22 - Friends

good friends, Titus and Tina, whom we know before they were married in College Station.  Titus is from Nigeria, Tina from Kentucky, met at Berea College in Kentucky.  Their sons and daughter (oldest to youngest) Daniel, Joshua and Sarah Joy

Here they are at  the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia.
