Tuesday, Dec. 22 - the Vatican Museum

The rain.  A good day to be indoors at the Vatican museum and the Vatican. We took the metro A line to the Cipro-Musei Vaticani stop and walked a good way to the entrance of the museum. Wow! Many rooms of statues, paintings, painted ceilings, many of which you were not allowed to take pictures. All leading to the Sistine chapel by Michelangelo.  Here are several of our pictures (many more not shown here).
