Saturday, July 19

Today, we spent the day with friends we had met a few weeks earlier while at breakfast - Bob and Diane Knapp.  They invited us to their home where we had lunch, then spent a good part of the afternoon touring Broadmoor - the posh (does anyone ever use that word "posh" anymore?) country club a walking distance fr0m their home.  We had a great time, and with the Knapps having spent several decades there, we were treated to things most others never knew.

We came home to see these hummingbirds on our feeder.  The second one is a rufous. It lives in this area.

And the sheep

I wish everyone could live the blessed, charmed life that Patty and I live!
