Sunday, September 13 - LAVA, continued

We got to the obsidian outflow and were very surprised at all of it.

Even wall and stairs were made of it!

A mountain, about 20% of it obsidian.

And, no collecting permitted.

We found  this to be very interesting.

Not far were the Paulina falls - double cascades.

Monday, September 14 - Bend

Last day in this area, so we decided to visit Bend for groceries at Fred Meyer, stuff at Goodwill, browsing at Harbor Freight, and a walk in the park around the Deschutes river that flows through Bend.
